Summer camp is a wonderful vacation destination that gives kids a creative and physical outlet and parents a much-needed breather! My oldest, Emerson, has been attending camp the past few summers which gives me great one-on-one time with my younger daughter, Sloan, and allows Emerson the opportunity to make new friends and create life-long memories. We always have fun coming up with ideas about how to beautify her bunk with decorations like cute lights, fun stickers, colorful pillows, and even a mini marquee. I love to send Emerson fun, thoughtful care packages, keeping in mind that camp rules only allow for certain parcel sizes, which creates restrictions on what can be sent. I usually send stationary, art supplies, cute decorations for her bunk and clothing items that can easily be folded and sent in a large envelope, as well as practical things that she will use such as a detangle hairbrush or a towel wrap. Materials and supplies to make friendship bracelets are also a big hit. As we all know friendship bracelets never go out of style and are a simple way to commemorate camp experiences year-round!
